An eight page letter signed by 16 year old Marilyn Monroe to her foster mother Grace Goddard sold in April for $52.460 at auction.
The letter with an estmated value of $25.000 to $35.000 and signed by Marilyn Monroe alias Norma Jeanne Dougherty described the star's wedding at age 16 to Dougherty.
In her letter. Monroe tells her foster mother ,that she has a "Cute Little House" and will take a picture of it and send it to her .
