$25.000 $REWARD $ FOR 78RPM RECORD" by Larry koon Antiques Columnist

John Tefteller of Grand Pass,Oregon, has been buying and selling rare records  for 37 years now. his personal collection today contains some of the rarest records ever to be recorded, one which he purchased at auction on e-bay  in 2007  for $10.323. which turned out  to be one-of-a-kind-blues 45 rpm recorded by Alabama blues artist  D.A. Hunt  in 1953.titled  "Greyhound Blues" and produced  by the legendary  Sun Records in Memphis .Tennessee, the same record label Elvis Presley recorded for in the late 1950s.

It was D.A. Hunt's  first and only record,  which sold very few copies when it was first released in 1953,  Tefteller tells me today  that his  37 year search for rare records is not quite over yet,  There are two more records  out there he would like to add to his collection,, recorded by  blues artist Willie Brown on Paramount records recorded in the 1930s,  and has offered a $25.000 reward  to anyone out there who can come up with either 78 rpm  record in playable condition,

The two 78 Rpm  titles being sought  are "Grandma Blues" B/w " Sorry Blues" on Paramount Records, And  "Kicking in my Sleep"  B/w  Window Blues,

Readers if you know the where abouts of these records contact  Tefteller toll free 1-800-95-1326  tell him Larry sent you.

Thanks goes out to John Tefteller  for returning my phone call to write this story ,
