A signed photo of the notorious outlaw Jessie James sold recently at an auction in Chicago for $51.240 , The rare portrait dates back to the 1870s.
Jessie James grandfather gave the photo to a friend who held onto the photo for years.
Jessie James born in Missouri, was killed in 1882 at age 34 .
In the late 1870s Jessie James and his gang was known to have rode into Huntington. W.Va early one morning, and robbed the Bank of Huntington, the gang got away, except for one member of the gang who's horse was to slow in getting away, the man was caught and spent life in Moundsville .W.va prison where he died
