On June 19.1961. The Beatles signed their first recording contract in Hamburg, Germany, the contract was signed by John Lennon. Paul McCartney. George Harrison and it's orginal drummer Pete Best, the contract will go up on the auction block in May or june at Londons Theatre Royal.
The contract which producer Bert Kaempfirt also signed. lead to the Beatles recording "My Bonnie" with Tony Sheridan b/w "Aint She Sweet"
The contract was handed down to a daughter of one of Kaempfert's friends. who recently discovered the contract in the basement of her home in Switzerland. Auction officials say the contract could sell for as much as $50.000 or more,
